Training

As a cutting machine operator, you will produce individually manufactured single pieces and small series. These are usually extremely stressed components, e.g. for the chemical and petrochemical industry, the oil and gas processing sector as well as plant and power plant construction - with the focus on very large special components with demanding geometries. With us, something is always turning - either the machine or the workpiece. With various tools such as drills, turning tools or milling cutters, workpieces are made for the future with the help of state-of-the-art machine systems.

Training contents:

• Basics of metalworking
• Preparing and setting up conventional and CNC lathes
• Program creation for numerically controlled manufacturing systems
• Machining of workpieces according to technical drawings
• Handling of measuring equipment
• Cleaning, maintenance and servicing of machines
